The girl, who was the victim of Delhi gang rape died today. But the annoying comments by the people, politicians, police still are continuing. They still feel it was "exactly" not the rapers' mistake to rape her brutally. It was "indirectly" the girl's mistake that she got raped! Isn't this v. shameful for us to listen this kind of comments???
Isn't this shameful that the victim died. But those accused ones are still surviving to see the new year.?? Is this the constitution we are proud of?? Really?? What are police waiting for?? Why hanging them is taking so much time? Why don't they respond like real Indian and taking a strong step???
One of the cheapest comment I came across about this issue was by Dr. Anitha Shukla, a scientist! She says, "the girl should have surrendered instead of resisting
True, maybe her being out at 10 pm was a mistake, but what those men did with her was not even a mistake, it was an evil deed for which they should not be hanged, in fact they should be electrocuted.
ReplyDeleteThe death has given a very strong message to all d girls, that they have to be strong for themselves. They have to be their own bodyguard.!
ReplyDeleteHer being out at 10pm is NOT a mistake, Kumar!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should have the right to be out at ANY time of the day/night as they wish! People should have the right to go where they want and be safe. In this case - I'm in Australia, so I don't really know India's laws as much - these cowardly thugs coaxed her fiance and her into a bus and savagely beat and raped her.
They should get the death penalty for what they did. Torture them first and then send them into the shooting range. Even animals will never do this. They are one of the worst kind of people there are.

The views differ from person to person, and even when such grown and and known people of the country are not able to judge the deed wrong, then it's useless to expect anything from them. No justice!
ReplyDeleteThanx mindy for ur opinion.
You're very welcome, mate.

We should never blame the victim in cases like these. What a sad tragedy that has occurred. Thank you for blogging about it. May I follow your wonderful blog?
ReplyDeleteIn regards to this case in India, words fail me right now. The men who committed, watched, drove the bus and participated by doing nothing are all to blame for what happened, not only to the woman who was raped but also to the man that was with her, as he also got badly beaten too.
ReplyDeleteRight now I don’t care what time this woman was out, I don’t care what she was wearing or who she was with. We should stare clear of making sweeping judgements on victims all the time. We need to focus our attention on the men who committed the crimes, in my opinion. What woman on earth would NOT blame men who gang-raped, beat, used implements to destroy her insides, threw her naked off a bus and the list of offenses is endless,? Need I say much more.
These men are still out there. The police did not arrest every person who was on that bus that day, so there is a high possibility that some of those who took part may have the opportunity to do it again. AND THIS TIME IT COULD BE DONE TO YOU… those women who blame the victim rather than the perpetrator – think of your mothers, daughters, sisters, aunties, wives ………
Sorry to ramble on your blog but after reading your great post I was livid.
