Every time you see tears in the eyes, they necessarily do not signify just pain. Sometimes the tears are the the embodiment of helplessness, love, envy or may be revenge!!

Really like your sketch Esabella. It could be tears of joy or happiness. A sign of relief from a situation. Grief or despair. People shed tears for so many reasons.

ReplyDeleteTears are of a release in any case, tears of joy is releasing joy within oneself & tears of pain are releasing hurt & anguish within oneself which could hurt us even more if we don’t release them, tears to me represent release.

Just as you rightfully said, tears can depict many an emotion. But for me I shed a tear when I'm very much overwhelmed with joy, I cannot but burst into tears.
